What to wear running

It should be convenient and functional whatever you wear. Rafflesome high-tech fabrics can be costly, but worth it, as they can help you stay cool, dry, and safe from elements. Clothing from baggy cotton should be avoided, since the skin could chafe. Customize your wardrobe according to the number of conditions you will probably meet regularly. 

You can do the clothes you can use for training. You will find however more comfortable running gear made from synthetic “wicking” high- tech fabrics. In fitting, breathable layers assemble your running wardrobe. Please do not overdress, because if you get too hot, you’ll need to carry it. After warming, you will feel 15–20 degrees warmer by the extra heat on your body. Wear sockets with double layer to prevent blisters.

A good sports bra is equally important for women as the right footwear. Running is an activity with a high impact, so you have to be supported more than the normal bra can.


WHAT SHOULD I WEAR RUNNING IN HOT WEATHER?

You will be able to wear a T-shirt or jacket and shorts made from a breathable, wicking material when the temperature is above 12C. Avoid baggy, clothing for cotton; sweat-logged cotton rubs the skin, causing the nipple of the runner. In the summer, cool-max socks are best. A cap with a visor and sporting sunglasses are also needed to protect your face and eyes from the sun. Put sunscreen on any exposed skin.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR RUNNING IN COLD WEATHER?

Wear sleeved heads and leggings that are either three-quarters or full length, depending on how cold. You need a wicking base layer on your upper body and a warmer layer above. Wear a breathable water resistant external jacket when it is raining in order to escape heat and humidity. Usually, your legs only need one layer because your muscles generate extra body temperature.

Choose clothing with reflective stripes to be seen on dark nights. By your head you may lose up to a third of your body heat so that it is covered. A fleece thermal hat is ideal; you can take the hat and put it in the leggings if it gets too hot.



Wear a bandana in your neck, not a scarf. If cold it is, pull it over your face. Put the exposed skin of petroleum jelly to protect the skin from the cold and wind and bring your face very lightly with the sunscreen.
